No one seeing this modular shed system could possibly think of backbreaking outdoor work. The shed, which offers storage space for gardening tools, can also function as a greenhouse or even as a romantic retreat.

In the photo session for this greenhouse/shed combination, the Finnish studio Avanto Architects and manufacturer Kakkliä concentrated primarily on the shed’s romantic potential.
Of course, this versatile little house must be set up in a special place if it is to be used as an outdoor bedroom. Otherwise, the glassed-in area provides an ideal space for plants to thrive. Made of Finnish wood and tempered safety glass, the shed is available in various prefabricated designs, including one with a roofed-in verandah between the shed and glassed-in areas where gardeners can take a well-deserved break. The modular components allow the house to be assembled in any way and thus adapted to its location.
